R.C. Construction Projects Reap Accolades

R.C. Construction's work was recognized this year in the 2011 Merit Awards Competition. The projects submitted were judged by the University of Southern Mississippi School of Construction, and the panel evaluated the projects based on scope of work, completion time, safety information, basis of difficulty, unusual features, budget, and quality of construction.
DLA General Purpose Warehouse, Robins AFB, GA won 1st prize in the Out of State Project, Industrial/ $15-$25 Million category. Danny Farmer lead estimating on the project and Heston Powers worked as Project Manager. Danny and Heston collaborated with Zeb O'Bryant to execute Central Wash Facility, Ft. Benning, GA, which one 1st prize in the Out of State Project, Public Works/Environmental Category. Danny oversaw the entire completion of Unit Maintenance Facilitates Phase A, FT. Campbell, KY with Randy Scott's help as Quality Control Manager. The project won 1st prize in the Out of State Project, Institutional/$10-25 Million category.
R.C. Construction's success is a product of the integrative efforts of the home office, led by Karen Fratesi; our project managers and estimators; our project superintendents that lead R.C.'s men and women in the field; and our Safety Director, Lori Nichols.
R.C.'s Vice President Heston Powers, who is also an accomplished pilot, will fly the R.C. team to the Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, MS on November 3 to attend the 2011 Merit Awards Banquet.Return to News
